My random update

So today I sat down at a random coffee house and decided to work on the spell checker for the BoS project. Getting the libraries to integrate with the Java Swing GUI was fun, took most of my day to get it all finished. So far the BoS program is coming along pretty well, I ordered a new 2 GB stick of memory for my pc and it should here tomorrow. So tomorrow night I will be able to work a little faster I hope.

Personal Down Time, Forced

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not been working on the BoS project since 07-20-08 due to the fact that I was involved in a car crash on the 21st. My car has been junked but luckily I was able to get my hands on another one. I have spent the last two weeks in a fair amount of pain and now I have to get caught up in the classes I missed last week due to the wreck. I promise to get back to work as soon as I am caught up in all of my classes and when the pain to minimal enough for me to think straight. The doctor prescribed a muscle relaxer and a pain killer but I am unable to afford them at the moment so my recovery will be longer then expected.

The site got a face lift!

Some of you may or may not have noticed that we have updated the site just a little bit. We now have banner ads on both the left and right side of the site. Mailing List has been Hacked!

As many of you have heard our mailing list was found to have been hacked last night. Our logs show that the cracker hacked the mailing list on April 13th. As I have said in my e-mail all the cracker most likely has done is looked at your e-mail addresses. Speaking as a security professional myself I doubt the cracker (yes cracker not hacker) has done anything more then change some of the mailing list settings and looked at everyone's e-mail address. We will be moving to a new mailing list service ASAP. I will ask everyone to please sign up for it when it is up and running. Anyone that was on the previous mailing list will be added to the new mailing list by me. If you were on the old mailing list and do not want to be on the new mailing list then please e-mail me at Admin@MythicSoftware.com.

A bright beginning

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their long standing support of our efforts. It is because of your support that we continue to make improvements and grow as a Pagan company. It has been some years since we started out on our rocky road and we are nearing completion. There have been many setbacks and pitfalls during our journey but I am happy to say that we are closer then ever before in the release of our Book of Shadows program.
